What’s In My Bag? Christmas Eve Disneyland Edition

Disneyland during the Holidays seems inexplicably more magical than usual, doesn’t it?  On Christmas Eve I took a little road trip to California so my best friend and I could reunite, after months of separation, at “The Happiest Place On Earth.”  The tricky thing about packing for a theme park is bringing all the necessities needed to keep you looking and feeling refreshed, but still packing light enough to be comfortable walking around all day. Here’s what’s in my bag for a full day at Disneyland, as well as a few photos of the parks Holiday cheer.image1

Bag: The Mansur Gavriel Mini Backpack in Black/Flamma (details here) was perfect and light for a day of trekking around the park.

Ears: These snapback Minnie Mouse ears were packed as a backup but I ended up wearing them the whole day.  I like to buy new ones every time I visit, but the park was all sold out of Christmas ears *cries*.

Charger: The JunoPower charging Hue Stik is an essential.  The reception at Disneyland is awful and when your phone is continuously searching for a stronger signal it drains battery life quicker.

Cell: Despite the reception, I’m always trying to update phhhoto & snapchat (@elle_kae) with my iPhone 6.  Pro Tip: “Heads Up” is a game that saves lives is lines.

Camera: I alternate between my iPhone 6 and my Sony Alpha6000 mirrorless digital camera.  It takes quality photos and videos, but is much easier to bring around than most bulky DSLR’s.

Hair: I bring Klorane Dry Shampoo w/Oat Milk (Mini) to add texture and revive my hair after hours of running around.

Skin: Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens keep me feeling refreshed and oil free.

Sunnies: When the Jeremy Scott x Linda Farrow “Mickey” sunnies came out I couldn’t find them anywhere.  I was so excite when I found these “inspired by” sunnies to take their place; I bring them overtime I visit Disneyland.

Scent: Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb (Mini) is long-lasting and it smells how I imagine a Disney Princess would smell like.

Moisturizing: Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream (Mini) is magical, super hydrating, and multi-purpose.  I apply it to my hands, my elbows, and even my lips.

Lips: I found this Ettusais Lip Essence Stick in Japan and I’m obsessed.  It has the perfect tint of color, is super hydrating, and offers SPF 18 coverage.

Face: Benefit Erase Paste concealer to re-mask blemishes and under eye circles and my favorite Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua cream compact, because I secretly love it when someone mistakes me for a teenager

Mirror: A playful popsicle mirror complete with a popsicle stick that doubles as a pull out comb.

Wallet: Yves Saint Laurent Y-Mail metallic gold coin purse to house my dolla dolla bills and Disneyland Park Pass.
