Barrette’s are back, and they’ve come a long way since the 90’s.  The trend came back last fall and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.  Whether you want to look polished or playful, hair accessories are my favorite cool-girl way to elevate your basics.  I’m planning on wearing the sparkliest barrettes, the neon scrunchies, and the pins in clusters with a plain white tee and jeans– although you could just as easily dress any of these items up.  From velvet bows to bedazzled barrettes, I rounded up some of my favorites:
