When I’m on the go I tend to fall back into the same uniform again and again– monochromatic with a little pop of color.  It may be a lazy habit that I often resort to wearing all black, but I love the look of it and can’t bring myself to disagree with Yohji Yamamoto.  The trick to breaking up the monotony of an all black outfit is to mix textures and shapes;  some leather sheen with the pop of royal blue completes my look for a day full of running errands around town.

At work I’m forced to wear heels, so when I get the chance to wear sneakers I take it.  Although I have a few pairs from Adidas (everyone needs the Stan Smiths), I’m usually a Nike girl.  If you’re just starting your sneaker collection and aren’t sure which style to get, the AJ1 is probably the most flattering for a woman’s legs.
