Statistics say that most blogs are abandoned within the first 120 days; assuming that to be true I suppose I’ve just reached an important milestone.  On August 16, 2014 I decided to translate my love for sharing the things that inspired me and made me happy into a lifestyle blog, and I launched ElleKae.  To say that I didn’t really know what I was doing would be an understatement, so to see that my hobby has grown into this humble little community is amazing to me.

Although I still have so much growing and learning to do, I just wanted to thank all of you for joining me on this journey.  Without the massive amount of support I’ve been given from all of you who subscribe and interact with the site, along with the brands who have so generously collaborated with me throughout the year, this blog would be nothing.

Some of you may have noticed the recent changes to ElleKae.  To ring in this Sophomore Year of blogging I’ve made the switch to a self-hosted site, bringing with that a new layout and endless creative freedom.  Do you like this new layout?  Are there types of content you’d like to see more of, or less of?  Let me know in the comments section below!
