Cropped Palazzo Party

A wide leg silhouette and a pop of color make these loose palazzo pants easy to enjoy the hot, sunny weather of Summer.  The standard formula of skinny jeans and a cute blouse can seem constricting during warmer nights, and I don’t always want to opt for a mini-dress either.  I love that these breezy pants have a slightly sailor vibe, that I dressed up with a deep v body suit

BRB, Buying Ray-Bans

August always hits me by surprise.  School is back in session and fall shopping has begun, so I kind of view it as the last reasonable opportunity to splurge on sunglasses before summer officially ends.  Any excuse, right?  Here are my 20 favorite Ray-Bans of the moment~ Left to right, 50 Tech Light Ray, 54 Erika Purple Suede Aviator, 54 Justin, 56 Aviator, 59 Light Ray Clubmaster, 59 Original Aviator

Bad Gal Shine

After Lisa Frank went out of style* I never thought temporary tattoos would be back on trend, at least not this strong.  After Flash Tattoos swept the festival scene I still wasn’t convinced, but now Bad Gal Rihanna has collaborated with LA jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche on a seven-piece line of mix-and-match metallic gold/glow in the dark temporary tattoos.  A very fitting project for the inked up star, the line consists of chain sets,

Spring Lust List: Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

Nordstrom’s Half-Yearly Sale is currently underway! Last I checked there were 115 pages just in the women’s section alone– kind of crazy.  I’ve sorted through each page and picked out some of my favorites for you.  There were a lot of great deals, but during sales like this I especially love to take advantage of the 40% off designer wear.  Take a look at my picks below ~

‘Parlez-Vous Français’

‘Parlez-Vous Français’ Vogue Paris May 2015 The gold, the glitter, and the haute couture… whats not to love in this Vogue Paris editorial? Dior Haute Couture // Valentino Haute Couture // Armani Privé // Maison Margiela Artisanal // Chanel Haute Couture

The Buscemi ‘Alta’ for Women

Before you go restocking your wardrobe with strappy sandals just in time for Summer, take a look at the first women’s model by luxury sneaker designer John Buscemi.  Made of high-grade pebbled leather from Italy and complete with a hidden 2″ wedge, the Alta is sort of a necessity.  The Alta now comes in medium tan/black and powder blue/black along with the black, red, and white colorways released late last

At the Café

It seems like plans never quite pan out how you expect them to.  A day initially reserved for a Star Wars complete saga marathon (May the Fourth be with you) transformed into a long lunch of catching up with one of my favorite nomads at our local pâtisserie… or so we thought.  Just a heads up: Pâtisserie Manon is closed on Mondays!  In the end, we braved a pending storm

Live Love Layer

They say that Spring is the season for “light layers,” don’t they?  Lately I’ve been all layered up thanks to my latest Rocksbox set, featuring jewelry from House of Harlow 1960, Jenny Bird, and the masters of all things layered– Gorjana.

Pizza My Mind

Dressing like a serious adult is all well and good, but sometimes you just want to kick back and have a pizza party.  Theres just something so playful about throwing on a graphic crop top, a pleated skirt, some exaggerated accessories, and letting your hair go wild.  I’m turning 24 next month and I’m constantly torn between feeling like a teenager and feeling like a grandmother.  Oh well, theres always pizza.

Greaser

If a Greaser met a Club Kid, I imagine this is what the lovechild would look like.  I stumbled upon this editorial for the PRIMARY NY x Carbon & Hyde jewelry capsule a while ago, but for some reason never got around to posting it.  Something about the super luminous skin, slicked back hair, combination of netting and leather, and pop of color smoky eye just gets me.
