Natural Daytime Look with Nvey Eco Pure Organic Makeup
My day-to-day life is not always the healthiest, so I often find myself looking for a balance wherever I can. It’s important to remember that what goes onto our body can be just as important as what goes into it, which is why I’m always excited to have the chance to try all natural beauty products. I was recently introduced to Australian manufactured Nvey Eco Pure Organic Makeup Artistry, a “high performance line achieved without the use of chemical ingredients such as paragons, petrochemicals or synthetic fragrances, and Nvey Eco is not tested on animals.”
The struggle I face with natural beauty brands is finding products that work as well as their non-organic, mainstream counterparts. I don’t ever want my face to smell like hemp, or for my shadows to lack pigmentation and staying power. Using Nvey Eco Pure Organic Makeup I created a light, natural look perfect for daytime in order to test the products.
Nvey Eco Pro Studio PRIMER+: After moisturizing with Shiseido Ibuki Protective Moisturizer, I primed on my skin with PRIMER+. I found that while it does have a slight organic fragrance, it’s nothing distracting and it does fade once fully absorbed by your skin. It seemed to do a good job of keeping my makeup in tact, and actually the Organic Moisturizing Fluid Foundation didn’t work well without it.
Nvey Eco Organic Moisturising Fluid Foundation: The cool thing about this foundation is that if you can’t get to your local Ulta, you can use the Perfect Match section of the Nvey Eco website to find your perfect color and order online. I used that method to notify the brand about my perfect color (511 Custard) and the product I received really was a perfect match. Applied on its own with a beauty blender ball, the fluid foundation was difficult to blend and sat atop my skin. Used with the PRIMER+ the application was much easier and stayed for hours. While not truly long-stay, it is the best organic foundation I’ve found yet.
Nvey Eco Nourishing Bronzer: I received the “Oasis” shade. This bronzer is matte; sans shimmer, glitter, or shine which makes it perfect for contouring your face. When I’m using a powder to contour I want to avoid any shimmer, which I reserve for the highlighted portions of my face. I used to contour the hollows of my cheeks, my jawline, slightly on the sides of my forehead, and lightly on the sides of my nose. This bronzer blends well and will probably be part of my usual routine. The only downside is that the formula cracks easily (or the compact doesn’t resist shock well), so keep this product at home and not part of your on-the-go kit.
Nvey Eco Eyeshadow: I received “166 Midnight Blue.” Since the shade didn’t go well with my natural look, I opted for my Bobbi Brown Surf & Sand palette instead. If used with an eyeshadow primer the Nvey Eco eyeshadow shows good pigment and blends out smoothly.
Nvey Eco Advanced Care Lip Colour: I loved this lipstick, in shade “367 Amour” it was a nude with a subtle pink shimmer. It was really moisturizing; its enriched with organic jojoba, safflower, castor oil, shea butter & vitamin E.
Nvey Eco Hydrating Lip Lustre: Shade “Barely There” topped “367 Amour” beautifully. Together they created a nude lip that didn’t wash me out at all, which is usually a tricky balance to create. It wasn’t at all gooey either.
I also used Smashbox Soft Lights Shimmer for highlight on my cheeks, Nars Albatross to highlight my nose and a little more cheek, Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade to fill in and shape my brows, BDB Brow Gel & Highlight Wand, Kevyn Aucoin Concealer, liquid eyeliner from Japan, Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes beige inner-rim eyeliner, Ardell Demi-Wispie fake lashes, and Revlon pinkish-nude lip liner with the label rubbed off.
What do you think of this natural-look? What are your favorite cruelty free, organic beauty brands?

You look amazing!!!! The matching process for that foundation sounds really interesting also.
Lovely look! In the Philippines, we’re lucky to have a homegrown mineral-based beauty line called Ellana Minerals. It’s inexpensive, a favorite among local beauty gurus, it’s so good that they ship worldwide! They have loose mineral foundation shades fir coll, warm, neutral and olive skin tones.
Oh wow, I’ll keep an eye out for it.
Thanks!
